BACA Architects is turning flood risk into opportunity through our pioneering LifE approach (Long-term Initiatives for Flood Risk Environments), designing flood-resilient cities and buildings that protect people, enhance landscapes and restore ecological balance.
With support from Innovate UK Business Growth and ambitions to take our innovation global, BACA joined the Innovate UK GBIP focused on urban systems in India. The programme has already created impactful results, including:
• Strategic partnerships with Indian firms
• Plans to deliver five projects in the first year, and fifty per year by year five
• Collaborations with UK innovators to scale sustainable solutions
Flooding is a critical challenge for India’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. BACA’s expertise in waterfront development and regenerative architecture is helping shape adaptable, climate-resilient urban planning strategies.
