The Royal Marines commissioned a memorial to honour all Marines who have died serving their country, and to be located within the National Memorial Arboretum in Lichfield, Staffordshire. The Arboretum is home to memorials from the Military, Civil Services, Charities, Local organisations, and Overseas organisations.
