The building replaces a disused old peoples home with a discreet two-storey development that preserves and enhances views of the surrounding greenery. A formal brick façade faces on to the road protecting the building from the noise and grime of the street. An informal glazed façade, animated by balconies and gardens, faces the green courtyard.
