This exhibition showcased a range of built, unbuilt and conceptual
projects by both architects and architecture students. The projects
were shortlisted from an open ideas competition exploring the ideas
and ways that people live now, and innovative, inspirational proposals
exploring the changing nature of sustainable living.
“Our annual exhibition, Sustainable Living by Design, investigates the
biggest challenge that our cities face in the century. This is to find a
sustainable way of maintaining and improving our urban lifestyles,”
Andrew Hanson (Chair of RIBA London).
The panel of judges included Jelena Tomic (Chair-Sheppard Robson Architects), David Littlefield (architectural journalist), Anna Liu (Tonkin Liu Architects) and Edouard François (Architecte DPLG).
